Coach Stearns serves as a varsity football assistant, varsity bowling head coach, and JV baseball head coach.

While in college Coach Stearns played football for the University of North Alabama. Before coming to Mountain Brook, Coach Stearns was the offensive line coach at Spain Park High School for three years. Previous to that he was on the coaching staff at Thompson High School for five years. He began his coaching career at Thompson Middle School in 1998.

Coach Stearns and his wife Delina have two children, Clay and Emma.
