Coach Heather McGuirk is a native of Pelham, AL and has a Bachelor in Sports Management degree from Huntingdon College in Montgomery, AL.  Coach McGuirk began her tenure as Mountain Brook's head coach in 2018-2019 school year.  Her collegiate career included playing four years of college softball - Coastal Alabama (2 yrs) in Bay Minette and Huntingdon College (2yrs).  Coach McGuirk has been heavily involved in softball in various roles ranging from personal instruction, coaching, and organizational management.
