The varsity girls golf team used a strong second day score to finish 4th of 16 in the Hoover Invitational tournament. Laura Catherine Goodson finished in the top 10 in medalist play (7th out of 73)) firing a 159 over the two day event.
After a cold, wet Monday start, the Spartan golfers improved 22 shots from the first to the second day. It was a great day to be a Spartan!
Next on the schedule for the team is the Spain Park tournament scheduled for March 20-21 at Greystone Country Club.
