Paige Tatarek is starting her third year as the head coach of the swim and dive team. She received her B.S. from the University of Arizona in Exercise Physiology and her master’s degree in kinesiology from University of Alabama Birmingham. Prior to coming to Mountain Brook, Coach Tatarek taught physical education at Highlands. She graduated from MBHS and started her coaching career immediately after high school. Most recently, Coach Tatarek was the head coach of JAC, a club team that had nationally ranked swimmers. Currently, she is in her fifth year of teaching physical education at Crestline Elementary. Coach Tatarek is married to Kevin, and they have two children, Hannon and Chris.
